Cinnamon 88
Cinnamon 88 is a luxury development company, specialising in the creation of exclusive private residences and resorts in unique, one-off locations in both tropical and urban settings. The company have recently announced the launch of two exclusive developments - The Four Seasons Private Residences and Resorts in Barbados and Grenada.
Clearwater Bay, Barbados
Barbados private residences and hotel will be a luxury beachfront development, consisting of a 106 Room Hotel and 35 luxury four, five and six bedroom villas, spread out over 32 stunning seafront acres on Clearwater Bay, on the west coast of Barbados.
Private Residences
All villas offer privacy, security, award-winning architecture and design, dedication to detail and empathy with their surroundings. All include 24-hour personal service and amenities from a hotel group that is internationally-acclaimed for its hospitality. The properties all have their own direct view of the ocean from their private infinity pool and the owners will have full use of the hotel facilities, including the gym, spa and restaurants. Owners will also have flexibility in the design of their own properties - some have already chosen to have the likes of a spa area or gym incorporated into the design of their house. Many of the properties will have their own bar and wine cellar, beautifully landscaped surroundings, direct access to the beach and a variety of dining areas inside and out.
Hotel
This is a Four Seasons luxury five star hotel with 106 rooms, including a number of special beach front valley suites - through clever design each and every room has a full facing view of the Caribbean ocean. Food and beverage outlets include a fine dining restaurant, with inside and ocean front terrace dining, plus a speciality beach front restaurant with private dining rooms, as well as a pool bar and grill for casual dining. Function rooms include a 120 seat ballroom and two conference rooms, plus retail space. The complex offers a 50m ocean front swimming pool, tennis courts, 40,000 sq ft luxury spa, including hydro lounges, eleven treatment rooms and two luxury spa suites with ocean front infinity baths and a state of the art fitness centre and club house.
Total completion of the Barbados private residences and hotel are due to be completed in approximately 2011, with the first residents moving in for 2009. Prices range from $11.5million - $20million and sizes range from 6000 sq ft to 18000 sq ft.
Mount Hartman and Hog Island, Grenada
Private Residences
The private residences consist of 70 luxurious 3-8 bed villas on Hog Island and 103 on Mount Hartman. The size of the properties range from 15,000 to 65,000 sq ft. When buyers purchase the land, a development contract is signed with Cinnamon 88 to complete the construction of their private residence, prior to the opening of the resort in 2013. The size, design and specification of the residence will have been agreed during this period. The Four Seasons who are developing alongside Cinnamon 88 will be the biggest Four Seasons in the world.
Each new villa will have its own individuality but the architecture, quality of design and materials used will mirror Alang Alang, Cinnamon 88’s showcase property in Barbados. All of the villas are outside-in ‘tropically’ inspired with walls of teak, columns of coconut wood and sit subtly amongst their natural environment. All the seafront properties have 20-30 metre infinity swimming pools and many have direct access to a secluded beach. The properties also include 24-hour personal service.
Hotel
The private residents will have total access to all the hotel facilities, such as the gym, spa and restaurants. Villa owners will also be able to put their property into the villa rental scheme, operated by the hotel. There will be approximately 130 rooms, and this will be the largest and most luxurious hotel on Grenada to date.
Facilities include an 18 hole championship golf course, designed by McKenzie and Ebert, a tennis academy, destination golf and tennis clubhouse with all-day dining, 130 berth Marina with marine research centre and sailing school, ‘Marina Village,’ 14,000sq’ Spa facility and beachclub with several daytime and evening dining options.
